Each operator rarity has a different maximum level. Elite promotion unlocks higher level caps and significantly increases operator stats. The following table shows the maximum level for each elite phase.

Arknights Battle Records Guide
Operators in Arknights do not gain EXP through combat. Instead, you must use Battle Records ?consumable items that grant a fixed amount of EXP at the cost of LMD. There are four types of Battle Records in Arknights, each granting a different amount of EXP.

A 6-star operator requires approximately 1,151,400 total EXP to reach E2L90 from E0L1. This is roughly 575 Strategic Battle Records (2000 EXP each) or 1,151 Tactical Battle Records (1000 EXP each).
What is the best way to farm EXP in Arknights?
The most efficient EXP farming is LS-6 (36 sanity), which drops Strategic Battle Records (2000 EXP). LS-5 (30 sanity) provides Tactical Battle Records (1000 EXP) and is slightly less efficient but uses less sanity per run.
What is the best way to farm LMD in Arknights?
